“Computer Geek” - 16″x24″, acrylic on stretched canvas. 2005. Privately owned.
Since I included the new piece Computer Programmer yesterday, I thought I’d call back to one of my older pieces. This is one of my movement studies, and the subject is my father. I’ve seen him working endlessly on a laptop each evening for years.
Absorbed in thought, he would bring his hand to his chin and look pensive for a second, and then tap tap tap on the keys once again.
This piece hangs on the walls at my parent’s place.

Hi Sharon- I like the red and white stripes that convey the idea of a tunic illustrating your Dad’s military background. You have a gift. Keep running with it.
