“Cat and Mouse” - 11×14″, acrylic on stretched canvas, 2006.
This is one of those pieces that didn’t involve a lot of forethought. It just happened. I’ve had “painter’s block” for a few days, and this just spilled out onto the canvas tonight. Hard to get the juices flowing on cue sometimes.
This is a picture of one of my two cats, as pictured in the abstraction Kitten at Play. Her name is Shorty, for her… temperment.
When she was good, she was very, very good.
But when she was bad, she chewed the crap out of my wrist.
Why yes, actually… I am left-handed… if anyone wanted to know.

This one is one of my favorites! I think because it reminds of what my cat loves to do to “help” me. And I learned something new today, you’re left handed! Yea!!
